CAMDEN — Lessard Builders Inc., a Camden-based home builder and developer, has joined the Kent County Association of Realtors (KCAR) as an affiliate member.
“We have been im pressed with KCAR’s continuing support of the Central Delaware Habitat for Humanity,” said LBI President Brian P. Lessard. “Community outreach is more important now than ever.”
Mr. Lessard, a third generation builder who has served central and southern Delaware since 1982, learned his family’s trade of building large, custom and semi-custom homes from his father, who relocated the family to Delaware from Long Island in the 1970s.
Since then the company has built individual homes, subdivisions, commercial buildings, and the St. Thomas More Academy in Magnolia.
Their projects include Oakwood Village, a 115-unit custom home subdivision in Lewes, and Dickinson Creek, a 67-unit semi-custom home subdivision near Frederica. The company’s web site is www.lessardbuilders.com.
